Robert or Tom???

I keep contemplating who's hotter? Robert Pattinson or Tom Sturridge?

Rob's 22 and Tom's 23 years old, both Brits and have the same body type. Both are good actors and I'm pretty sure both have their bad boy sides as well. Both are being rumored as "gay". You might think they're brothers too.

Robert became a phenomenon since Twilight started and make all the women around the world crazy and wanted him to "BITE" them, jeezzz!

Well Tom on the other hand is brilliant as Carl in "The Boat that Rocked" he's gorgeous on that film and as I've said on my previous blog can be the next Edward Cullen that is IF Robert will decide he's had enough hehehe...

I know Robert can sing not sure if Tom can? Probably he can dance? then that makes their score even because Robert said on an article he can't dance.

Well can't decide both guys are DREAMY to me:) Take your pick!

Passing

Today, my hubby and the rest of our families are mourning. Their beloved uncle passed away last night. I only met him once and I can say that he's a good person, welcomed me like his own nieces and nephews. I just feel bad that we never had a chance to visit him when he's still strong and healthy whenever we go back home to the Philippines. My children could have known him better.

We're saying goodbye to him and hope that the Lord will keep him on his wings there in heaven. He will always be in our hearts and in our memory wherever he is. It's sad but I know we have to let him go, he served his purpose in this world and he lived his life to the fullest. No one can say that he's been deprived of anything.

Our prayers are with his family, hope they will heal in time, I know they will...

My Twilight DVD!

Today, I received the Twilight DVD I reserved a month ago, yey! I've been waiting for it for ages, then someone from JB Hi-fi called me and said "your Twilight DVD is ready for pick up". Wow! the magic words hahaha...

Wait! There's more!, they also gave me a free Twilight T-shirt what a bargain:) apparently it's free for the first 100 orders, guess I'm one lucky woman. Just hope the Twilight cast will visit Sydney for the premier of New Moon so I can get it signed, hmmm... well you never know I might get lucky to have pics too.

The Boat that Rocked - REALLY ROCKS!!!

Just came home from the movies. Hubby and I watched The Boat that Rocked and let me tell you this movie really ROCKS! I can't believe how good this movie is, really had fun watching it. Not only entertaining but the story line was brilliant. I would highly recommend it, a MUST WATCH movie. From the beginning up until the end, no boring moments. The music they use on this movie also good.

Story begins in 1966 where Radio Broadcasting only last for 45mins, imagine that. But they formed a group of DJ's and establish Radio Rock where they are broadcasting in a big ship. Radio Rock brings entertainment to the UK 24 hrs a day hence why lots of people are tuning to it. The story involves sex (lots of it and nudity as well), drugs and alcohol. Bill Nighy's performance really good as Quentin, the "boss" of Radio Rock. I almost did not recognise Kenneth Brannagh, his character is also good as Minister Dormandy who wants to shut Radio Rock off the air. Even Nick Frost's character Dave who is one of the DJ is really funny and he is very cool despite of the heavy baggage:)

I also like the character who plays Carl (Tom Sturridge) man he's a cutie! In case Robert Pattinson will resign to play Edward Cullen in the Twilight series, he'll be the next perfect Edward Cullen hehehe...

I feel sorry for the character of Chris O'Dowd who was ditched by his bride after 17hrs of being married because then wife only married him to get into the boat and be with Rhys Ifan's character Gavin. Almost got me teary-eyed:(

The rest of characters in this movie really played their part really well. Two thumbs up for this movie!

Answer to - Why Edward? (From the Perspective of a Non-Edward Fanatic)

I'm a fan of Robert Pattinson but not a CRAZY FAN that is. I admire the fact that he's playing Edward Cullen, I think the role suits him really well. One of the twits from the Perspective Non-Edward fan is asking "Why Edward?". To be honest as I replied to the twits I'm also not sure WHY??? but I do have some ideas.

1/The fact that he's very gentleman, respectful of women and with oh soo soothing voice. I think that's a winning points on women all over the world. Let's face it how many men can you find having those same traits that he has??? Exactly!

2/He may be skinny not really the "hot bod" guys that we see on movies with muscles and good abs. But I don't hear anyone complaining. Don't think you need to be a muscle bound male or Adonis type person for people to like you. He's got the charm and the sex appeal even without those traits.

3/He's a quiet-shy type of person that's why he doesn't say that much. You have to remember he's all new to this new found fame, so you can expect him to be awkward all the time. If he cannot hold a decent interview that's part of it not comfortable being interviewed(shy right?) But when he act he's giving his very best to be in character to satisfy his directors. I cannot say that he's a very very good actor but hey the guy can act.

4/ Can the guy sing? He can compose and play the piano. Hmmmm... I think he should stick with acting to be honest. He's got the voice but I think his genre or the type of music he wants to sing does not suit him at all. This is my opinion only, everyone's got their own. Now his friend Sam Bradley, definitely got a good singing voice.

5/According to women all over the world, he's DREAMY. In my opinion HE IS DREAMY, because he's the dashing and debonair Edward Cullen. But I'm also wondering what will happen after this whole crazy thing is over? If he plays his card wise he'll be here for the long haul, if not then.... I don't really know.

You are so right in your blog that Robert/Edward "is not your ideal pick for anything except for the respect he offers. He isn't the new Achilles-instead he is the new dream. The dream that makes women faint at the thought of having a man that actually respects them, puts them first, and is gentle in the way he walks beside her through life." But is that what all women want in the first place, be respected and treated well by their man? If your guy is like Edward/Robert I'm pretty sure you'll be thinking of him as DREAMY as well right?

OK Magazine #1 Most Eligible Bachelor Year

Rob Pattinson has recently been voted by OK Magazine as no. 1 Most Eligible Bachelor of the Year! That's great news for all his fans (and me!). I just wish Robert will always stay the same person as he is right now, I'm pretty sure he will. That's one of his traits after all being a Taurus guy. In case girls wants to know who's compatible with him check this out: http://www.gotohoroscope.com/taurus-compatibility.html hope one you will get lucky hahaha...

Well I wish him good luck in the future and hopefully when I complete my studies for Filmmaking I can work with him someday (hahaha AS IF!). I'm actually writing a script at the moment that would suit him and Emma Watson (if she's interested). I like these two together they are both good looking and good actors. I would love to see them together in a project someday after the Twilight and Harry Potter series are over. I'm pretty sure their combination will be very interesting.

So to Robert Pattinson, congratulations again WELL DONE mate!

Soul mates

Wikipedia describes Soulmate as : a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility. A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – which is thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.

Do you sometimes feel that you should belong to someone who is exactly the same as you are? In other words a male or female version of yourself. I'm not a believer of horoscope to me it's full of crap. But then I find myself googling about who's compatible with me and who's not and I must say your star sign DO say a lot when it comes to relationships towards the opposite sex. For example, me and my hubby. Our star signs are fire(Aries) and water(Cancer), he's the fire and I'm the water. He's always the hot headed one and I will be the one who will soothe him. But then our star signs says we're always clashing with each other which is very very TRUE. We are two different individual, I'm moody and very sensitive and he will be the annoying and a bloody good teaser when he knows that I'm pissed off with him. I'm not that passionate well not with him, always irritated with him. Don't know why? He's the clingy one, sometimes I wonder if he's a husband or my 4th child hahaha...But you know if there's any past life we are definitely not together on those times I guess hehehe....

Milk/Little Ashes

I watched Milk the other day and I must say this movie is good , well to my liking that is. No wonder Sean Penn won best actor for this. His potrayal of Harvey Milk, not trying to sound exaggerating is really brilliant. I don't usually see a lot of gay themed movies but this one I can recommend as "must watch". On the other hand I saw the trailer of "Little Ashes" not sure if they will show this globally at the moment it's showing on May 8 in the UK. Well I hope they will because I'm definitely going to watch. The story of Salvador Dali sounds interesting. The last gay movie I watched was Broke Back Mountain which is also good. Hey I'm not a lesbian or gay but I have 2 gay brother-in-laws which I adore and besides majority of my friends are gay since I was in school up until now. I don't know but they're more fun to be with sometimes. Bitchy but fun hahaha...

Robert Pattinson Part 2

Hmmm what else can I say about Rob. Well I was watching his Oscar presentation in youtube and was a bit disappointed. WHY??? he looks very uncomfortable in front of the camera and I guess in front of the audience as well. I mean Rob you've been dubbed as one of the sexiest man on the face of the earth and there you are at the Oscars feeling uneasy. Well probably it's because it's your first time to present an award in a prestigious awards night like the Oscars. Then that's understandable, but I do hope that you will improve yourself and be confident with yourself next time (not over-confident though). You're a talented person you should be proud of what you have achieve. I know your fans are.

Robert Pattinson

Well I told myself I'm not going to join Rob Pattinson's group. But hey what can I do, I'm a big fan hehehe. What can I say about Rob, well he's a good actor but I'm wondering what will be next for him after this Twilight effect is over. It's almost like the first time thatHarry Potter movie came out. It became a phenomenon, not sure now but Ithink it's because of the span of time they are showing each movies itlost the "magic" somewhere. I'm a fan of Twilight books, never thought Iwill because I hate romance novel, not a big fan of it. I like horror, suspense-thriller, supernatural and CSI type of story. But because the VAMP twisted thestory that makes Twilight appealing. I'm so into it I even wrote ascr i pt for the last book Breaking Dawn, got some friends to read andthey told me it's good and that I should submit it to Summit. LIKE THAT WILL HAPPEN! but who knows I might get crazy one day and do it. AnywayI'm into film making and scr i ptwriting so probably it will work somehowhehehehe.. I just hope after the fever of Twilight died down, Robert will choose roles that suite him best. I would think a romance-comedy like Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore's 50 1st Date(love that movie) or Hugh Grant's Music and Lyrics type of movie will suite him. He can show his lighter side at least. He's now a self- made matinee idol now c'mon. I haven't seen Little Ashes but I've been reading that he's playing a gay person in that movie. Hmmm... is that why the gay rumor mills started??? People were also saying he's not washing his hair as I heard. Hey, my eldest son is the same, he's also not keen on washing hair that often so I can't say anything about Rob's hair habit hahaha...The only thing I can tell him, STOP taking those valium tablets. Man, that's bad stuff for him. He's only 22 , what is he thinking taking those tablets for? I'd rather if he's really nervous to breath deeply to calm himself. I think he's just overwhelmed of what's going on around him at the moment. He's one time a nobody, now every single women, mums and yes even the gay community all over the world are screaming their heads off when he's around. Well can't blame them as Scarlett Johanson's husband just said in an article I think his name is Ryan "He's DREAMY" well HE IS. I like his British accent , well I'm always fascinated with it anyway like Hugh Grant and Colin Firth. Wow those English boys what can I say :) I think because we are used to American accent that's why when we hear something different we're like almost fainting and sighing hahaha
